Daniel Spafford, of Westfield, New Jersey, joined the firm in January of 2023. He spent the four previous years practicing Workers’ Compensation law, and appeared in nearly every Workers’ Compensation Court in New Jersey. He has extensive experience obtaining settlements for injured workers, and now protects the rights of those injured due to automobile and various other accidents.
Mr. Spafford began winning cases for his clients before he passed the bar exam. At Rutgers Law School, Mr. Spafford practiced both criminal defense and administrative law, receiving favorable results for each of his clients. He passed the New Jersey Bar exam and became licensed to practice law in 2016. A fervent believer in the second amendment, Mr. Spafford spent his first year as an attorney representing individuals charged with gun-related crimes and was able to get several of his clients pre-trial intervention, saving them from possible jail sentences. When not appearing in municipal or superior courts, he did expungements and wrote motions to dissolve restraining orders.
His experience has allowed him to develop a unique perspective. At the end of his first year of practice, Mr. Spafford found an opportunity to represent medical providers and began his practice of Workers’ Compensation. In this role, he was able to gain intricate knowledge of defense strategies and medical procedures. Ultimately, he wished to be an advocate for those actually injured in these matters, and this compelled him to become a Petitioner/Plaintiff’s attorney.
Daniel is licensed to practice before both the state and federal courts of New Jersey and the United States Supreme Court.
