New Jersey native Eugene Wishnic earned his undergraduate degree in English and Communications in 1989 from Rutgers University in New Brunswick and his Juris Doctorate in 1992 from the Rutgers School of Law in Camden. In 1997 Mr. Wishnic opened his own practice on Bayard Street in New Brunswick and has been aggressively protecting the rights of his clients ever since.
Mr. Wishnic is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, Middlesex County Bar Association, New Brunswick Bar Association, American Association for Justice (formerly ATLA), New Jersey Association for Justice (formerly ATLA-NJ) and presently serves as co-chairman of the Municipal Court Practice Committee for the Middlesex County Bar Association.
In addition to co-chairing the Municipal Court Practice Committee, Mr. Wishnic serves as an officer of both the Middlesex County Bar Association and the Middlesex County Trial Lawyers Association. He is admitted to the practice of law in New Jersey and New York.
Lee Jerushalmy is the managing partner at Wishnic & Jerushalmy. He graduated magna cum laude from Brooklyn College (C.U.N.Y.) with a history degree in 1989 and continued his education at The Hofstra University School of Law, where he earned his J.D. in 1992. He has practiced in both New Jersey and New York since 1993.
Lee handles all manner of accident claims including motor vehicle, slip/trip and fall and workers’ compensation as well as all types of municipal court matters. Since being appointed in 2014, Mr. Jerushalmy has been serving as a member of the Middlesex County Assignment Judge’s Civil Lawyers Committee.
Mark E. Zabel, Jr.
Mark E. Zabel, Jr. is an associate at Wishnic & Jerushalmy where he devotes his practice to representing individuals in personal injury and criminal matters. Mark represents clients in automobile accidents, slip/trip and falls, and general liability. Mark also focuses on criminal and municipal matters such as traffic violations, CDS possession, and DWI.
Prior to joining Wishnic & Jerushalmy, Mark had extensive litigation experience in representing individuals and corporations in a variety of liability and criminal matters across the State of New Jersey. Mark brings his experience to Wishnic & Jerushalmy in the protection of the rights of our clients. Mark graduated from the Charlotte School of Law located in Charlotte, North Carolina. During law school, Mark served as Vice President of the Student Bar Association and competed nationally as a member of the Trial Team. Mark graduated from Seton Hall University, cum laude, with a B.S. in International Relations and Diplomacy.
Mark is admitted to practice in the State and Federal Courts of New Jersey. He is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association; the New Jersey Association for Justice (formerly the New Jersey Trial Lawyers' Association); and the Middlesex County Bar Association.
Shannon R. Allongo is an associate attorney at Eugene S. Wishnic, P.C. Since joining the firm in 2011, Shannon has gained experience in all of the firm's practice areas. In addition to handling various aspects of personal injury cases, she has also represented hundreds of clients in municipal court, with charges ranging from simple traffic violations to shoplifting and possession of CDS. Shannon also handles most of the firm's Workers Compensation practice.
Shannon graduated magna cum laude from the J. Reuben Clark Law School in 2011. During law school, she interned with the U.S. Department of Justice and the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty, a nonprofit firm that litigates for freedom of religious expression. Prior to law school, she obtained a B.S. in Marriage Family and Human Development with a minor in Spanish from Brigham Young University, graduating magna cum laude. As an undergraduate, she completed an international volunteer program in Guadalajara, Mexico, and a study abroad program in Madrid, Spain. Her Spanish language skills allow her to communicate with Spanish-speaking clients and more fully advocate for their needs.
